A story by Joseph Radhik, Harsha Bathija & Raj Mohapatra, celebrating the love of Aamir and Afsha.

We were invited to Kashmir by Instagram poet Aamir Wani to photograph his celebration of love for Afsha. The wedding venue was Jalali Heritage House, a beautiful Kashmiri home which is over a century old. The nikkah ceremony was a quiet and peaceful affair, with hushed discussions, some confusion, and finally a lot of love and some tears too. The gorgeous daylight streaming through the stained glass windows made everything look like an accidental Renaissance painting - we didn't have to use any lights whatsoever.

The venue for Aamir's post wedding celebrations was Vivanta by Taj on top of Srinagar. It was a night full of dancing, some toasts, and some singing. Afsha and Aamir, thank you for having us, here's to Kashmir.
