Akhila and Ram's wedding was the first wedding we traveled to during the peak of the lockdown. Amid all the uncertainty, and anxiety surrounding the pandemic, it was the furthest thing from a typical wedding assignment for us at Stories. A team of only two - @rajmohapatra and @josephradhik - with masks on the whole time, and gloves too (those were the days!) and a constant uncomfortable feeling of being among people after months of staying at home. But all of that disappeared when we picked up our cameras, and photographed the love in front of us.

What you see here is a wedding celebration stripped bare of all the layers that a typical "big Indian" wedding is wrapped in - all events at home, all portraits taken at one specific window, and no "event plan"! An event where family and friends could just be who they are, and celebrate the union of two beautiful people. 😁
