A story by Shivali Chopra, Noel David and Allen Joseph celebrating the love of Ajay & Sonali.

Back in 2016, we were invited to shoot a home wedding in Delhi . Home weddings are always very personal and intimate and Sonali’s father left no stone unturned to make it extremely special for her even if it involved changing the decor every day for each event. It also turned out that Ajay was a photographer himself but that never felt like an added pressure, he always felt like a friend with whom you can have great conversations and who enjoyed the hell out of his wedding, without any holds barred. Every time he saw Sonali, his face would light up and his eyes would never get off her. Sonali made for a stunning bride and their love made all the images easy on the eyes and the heart!

Little bit of backstory, when Ajay contacted us sometime in 2015 the conversations revolved around his photography and not our wedding work! We were in awe of the images he had made across the 100+ countries he has traveled to, and when he dropped the bomb that he wanted us to shoot his wedding "and no one else", we knew it would be more than a challenge for us to live up to his expectations. But over conversations about war photography, travel, and the occasional mention of a wedding, we realized we were all on the same page.

So here we are, with this beautiful wedding set that is proof that photographers can look decent in front of the camera too. 😄
