My story so far | Noel.
Foreword by Joseph Radhik
As someone who obsesses about this craft, I find Noel's way around photography an inspiration --- that every relationship of love doesn't need to be about obsession. His relationship with photography is all about this hard-to-describe concept called "feel". He searches for moments and compositions that convey more than just pure geometry, places or faces; the gallery below is a collection of his work that attempts to evoke an emotion from you. Having spent the last 3 years looking at this food-obsessed photographer's work grow, I can only say this: to Noel, all that matters is that his images make you feel something.
"Would you like to join the madness in Mumbai?"
IIt was 2011, and this was a question posed to me by Joseph Radhik in September. A simple question which led to a choice that changed everything and put me on a whirlwind journey that shows no signs of slowing down. I found myself in Mumbai with some of the most talented/creative/crazy bunch of people and it's been three years and four months to be precise since that phone call. Apart from the benefits of fulfilling my wanderlust and helping my never ending quest to discover and dig in to new cuisines (my ever expanding waist-line bears testimony to this fact) the biggest high I get at my job is when I spend most of my days sharing the most important day of two people who are crazy in love. :)
Here I am today, representing the small percentage of people who are fortunate enough to have their passion as their job. This stint at Stories very deeply instilled in me the belief that no dream is too far away; when all your passion is directed towards it, God in His own magical way brings a pre-written story to reality. This for me is nothing but a dream come true and makes me beam with joy every time I pick a camera up to capture some of life's best moments!
I'm Noel David. This is my story.
